Maryland State Police spoke that Stephen Michael Manning & Russell William Byrne robbed the Penn Mar Liquor Store on Francis Scott Key Highway shortly after noon on Thursday. Police spoke the two demanded currency from the register & grabbed other items from the store while pointing a semiautomatic gun at the victims. Police spoke witness descriptions helped them locate the car old in the robbery, a gold 2005 Toyota Corolla that belonged to Manning. Police spoke they spotted the car in New Windsor, as well as a black pickup truck driven by Byrne. Officers was able to pull Byrne over, however Manning received away. Byrne was charged with armed robbery & related violations after officers spoke they found evidence from the robbery in his truck. Police spoke they believe Manning, 24, fled the area after being seen in New Windsor. He is believed to be armed & dangerous. Manning is white, in regards 150 pounds, five feet ten inches tall with blond hair usually kept in a ponytail & green eyes. His auto has license tags 1DGP74. Anyone with info on his whereabouts is questioned to call state cops at 410-386-3000.
