  • This Florida State Trooper was noticed on 11/24/10, at in regards 1240 hours EST, travelling north on US-19 near the northend of Perry. The Trooper passed my car on the left, then quickly changed lanes to the right WITHOUT signaling, passed alternative motorist on their right, then quickly changed lanes back to the left, again WITHOUT signaling, all done in a manner of 'weaving' through traffic. As this Trooper was performing car ballet, his left hand was pressed against his head as if he was holding a mobile phone. That would explain his unwillingness to conduct the proper lane change technique in accordance with Florida traffic law. So IF he was speaking on a mobile telephone while en voyage ON DUTY, would he be charged with distracted en voyage when he has a accident? I hold ALL law enforcement officials to a higher standard that they WILL comply with all traffic laws.
