Katie Couric had the special on TV, legal people from India purchase thousands of blocks of numbers from Verizon, Sprint, and others, and give them to call centers in India. Katie sent people to India and you could see hundreds of Indians making .calls inside. A boss came out and they ask if the building was a Call Center. The Indian said in fluent English, "No, this is not a call center." The. .Katie's people tracked down several legal Indians here in the US, they were all living in fabulous neighborhoods. throughout the country, and asked them about the blocks of phone numbers that they had purchased, these men took off, some ran away. I refuse to purchase anything from India now.n they will appear as Winning Price people, Credit Card personnel, and they have lots of info about each of us. Katie also interviewed people who were scammed. Some for just 100, some for thousands. Some elderly were crying. Disgusting criminals.
